Matiko Mamaladze, born in Tbilisi, Georgia of a rich artistic grounding is a fine artist with a unique style and mastery of her trade. Balancing her artistic and teaching endeavors, she has not only furthered her personal development, but also that of her many students who have progressed into successful and fulfilling careers themselves.

As international as she is local, Matiko's work has been exhibited and sold in Tbilisi, Mannheim, Lampertheim, Germany; Bern, and Zurich. She also exhibits in many distinguished regional events including the Rittenhouse Square, Daylesford Abbey, and Academy of Notre Dame art shows. Matiko's work has received such distinction as the Edgar A. Thronson Juror's Award at the Evening of Art event at the Goodstay Center, numerous first place awards at shows in her hometown, and she has been the featured artist at the Daylesford Abbey and Immaculata Art Shows.

Driven by a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Matiko has published the book "Where the Dream Begins," and is currently working to promote her new wine label "Lovers Wine," a unique interpretation of the very meaning of the spirit itself.
Matiko Mamaladze original works as well as signed giclee and greeting cards can be found on permanent display at our 2 South State Street gallery.
